Becks Mitre 10 – February Shoot

On Sunday the 18th February, warm weather and barely a breath of wind greeted over 70 competitors for our Becks Mitre 10 February shoot. Huge thank you to David Galloway for his sponsorship of the event!

With some gnomes keeping a close eye on the proceedings, there were some terrific and maybe not so terrific targets being thrown across Ranges 3 and 4 – big thanks to our trap setter for the weekend for putting together a fantastic course.

Congratulations to Nicholas Brown who claimed Top Gun honours for the weekend, shooting the only 25 for the day, on his way to a score of 94 / 100.

In the other grades: Richard Triffit snagged another AA Grade win with 90 / 100, John Pickup shot an impressive 82 / 100 to claim A Grade, with Mel Wheatley (74 / 100), Cameron McCarthy (53 / 100), Ryan Galloway (66 / 100) and Josh Williams (75 / 100) taking out the remaining grades and visitor win.

At the completion of the shoot, we held our AGM for the year – with roughly 20 in attendance.
