It was a spectacular Autumn day at Dorset on Sunday for our May Shoot, with 50+ competitors taking to the ranges for another cracking day of clay shooting.

2023 was an amazing year down at our club, with new traps, remotes and some club house renovations – read what our President had to say in his report.

On Sunday the 18th Feb, warm weather and barely a breath of wind greeted over 70 competitors for our Becks Mitre 10 February shoot.

Over 100 participants attended the Sports Hut Challenge, enjoying near-perfect shooting conditions. Beretta and Winchester provided expertise and entertainment, with Alex Grodski winning Top Gun. Thank you to volunteers who made it a success.

Celebrating a splendid year in Dorset, gratitude is expressed for the fun and achievements. Kudos to Paul Rigby for his seventh victory as Club Champion and to the first-time grade winners Gareth Davey, Brendon Hill, Don Edson, and Hayden Bishop.

Our December shoot is sponsored by the amazing Summers family, and doubles up as not only our Christmas Shoot but also our Club Championship, with a new club record of 87 competitors taking the fields for the final event of 2023.
