Dorset Field & Game Club Championship Rules

Each year, Dorset Field & Game hosts the Club Championship to crown our Overall Club Champion and determine winners in the following grades: AA, A, B, and C.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Membership:

   • You must be a current registered member of Dorset Field & Game at the time of competing for your scores to count toward the championship.

2. Participation:

   • You must compete in at least 5 of our monthly events during the calendar year as a paid member to qualify for the Club Championship.

3. Scoring System:

   • Your top 20 rounds from the year will contribute to your overall score. Scores will update as you improve throughout the season.
   • During the December Club Championship Shoot, all 4 rounds will count toward the championship score, bringing the total to 24 rounds for the year.

4. Grades:

   • Your grade may change during the year based on your performance. Your final grade for the December shoot will be determined prior to the event.

Tie-Breaker Rules:

In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the Club Championship:

1. A countback will be conducted on your best individual rounds for the year.
2. The competitor with the highest number of perfect rounds (25/25) will be declared the winner.
3. If the tie persists, the countback will continue by comparing the number of 24/25 rounds, and so on, until a winner is determined.
